Pre-Wedding Bucket List

Updated: Sep 26, 2020

As overwhelming as it may sound but life after wedding is certainly not the same. The moment you decide to start your life with a certain person many things change and it will never be the same. Keeping these little points in mind here are a few things that might help a soon-to-be bride.

Know Yourself

When you don’t know yourself, how can you know who to spend your life with? By spending some time alone, you get to know yourself better. You can indulge in your favorite activities, it could be writing, reading, art journaling or drawing or just about anything that you prefer!

There’s nothing more satisfying than knowing what you truly want in your life and with your life.

Talk about Your Budget

Talk about money with your significant other. There are certain topics which can be hard to discuss and this can prove to be one of them, but it is also pivotal. Know where you and your partner stand in terms of finances. Do they want to save or spend? Do you want to divide the living expenses, if yes then how? Make sure where you stand in the long and short run.

Live on Your Own

Living by yourself is completely different than living with your parents or friends or a roommate. Being autonomous is incredible. It will also make you grateful to your spouse for all the things they participate in when you finally move in together.

Cross That Bucket List of Yours

Every person has a fun bucket list to do. Whether it’s sky-diving, bungee jumping, a challenging hike, getting tattoos or getting pierced. Start by the first thing on your bucket list and have fun while doing that.

Be Bold and Face Your Fears

Everyone has some kind of fear in them. It can be speaking up on a public platform or jumping from a height or even talking to a stranger. Get that adrenaline rush! Facing your biggest fears is just as important as completing your bucket list.

Go Solo

Splurge on yourself and go visit all the fancy places you’ve been dying to visit.

You don’t need to wait for that someone special to go somewhere luxurious – You are special!

Traveling alone is a lot of fun, go on a road trip by yourself and explore the new places and have a wonderful time in your own wonderful company.

Spend Away!

Get that amazing bag you’ve always wanted! Or that one dress you know you’re only going to wear once. Now, it doesn’t mean to spend unnecessarily on things you’d not want to use.

Learn How to Cook

Now it’s definitely not like you need to know how to cook before you tie the knot, but it’s better to know how to take care of yourself on your own .Your spouse isn’t always going to be there for you. They may get late form work in the future, they may get sick in the future. So, it’s better that you know about the pots and pans in your place and know how to cook healthier, basic meals you both can enjoy.
